Monique Curry, MBA – President
Monique Curry is a proponent of the integration of art and design into the everyday lexicon. She has dedicated herself to their promotion as unique yet practical teaching tools, allowing youth to see the world in a new – and fundamentally different – way. Building off these beliefs, Ms. Curry founded The Association for the Advancement and Integration of Design (AAID), and is acting President. Following the mission of AAID, Ms. Curry has proven to be a thought leader in the advancement of collaboration as well as a very vocal mouthpiece, broadening the creative industry’s reach and providing a platform for everyman to gain an enhanced understanding of the medium. Her civic involvement includes serving as a Head Coach for the 2011 and 2010 Enon Eagles Pop Warner Cheerleading Squads, serving as Co-Founder and Co-Director for the 2010 EMERGE Philadelphia Program, sitting as a Guest Critic at The University of the Art’s 2009 Industrial Design Charrette, and sitting on the board of the Utica Neighborhood Services, Inc. She maintains an active membership to The National Urban League, is a leader-in-training for the 2011 Center for Progressive Leadership New Leaders Program and currently works at Bresslergroup as Marketing Manager. She holds an MBA from Penn State and a BS in Digital Design from Philadelphia University.
